Claims Philosophy

Our philosophy on claims is that they must be promptly handled in an expert manner to achieve a fair and prompt payment.

Essential to achieving this is that the same executives who negotiated insurance on your behalf and who are familiar with your business should deal with the claims. We have never had separate claims departments, when you need your broker most, you find you are dealing with new staff who are unfamiliar with your business and requirements and are less able to advise and present your claims in the best light.

For the smaller claim, we have arrangements with most major insurers to deal with these with straightforward , paper systems.

For the major claim, (and this, after all, is what you take insurance out for) we arrange for the appointment of specialist loss adjusters, (available 24 hours a day) who are familiar with your operations and insurance coverage, and liaise closely with them so as to achieve prompt settlement.

Because of the long-term continuity and careful placing of your insurance programme, your insurances are always considered in the most favourable light, and where necessary, we have been able to achieve "Special Settlements" which has been proved by our claims handling to our clients over many years.
